The iconic landmark is unmanned beacon for passing ships on the Straits of Singapore. Back in the 1990s, it was a popular dating spot for many couples. Recently, it was also featured in a recent local film “That Girl in Pinafore” where a couple played guitar on the tower.

There are urban legends surrounding it as well, but it should not be a concern to those who do not believe in the supernatural 😉

HOW TO GET THERE:

DRIVING

  • Park at Carpark C1 in East Coast
  • Walk south along the path to the beach, then turn LEFT and walk until you see the amber tower.
